Will Affirm affect my credit score?
Your credit score will not be affected when you check your eligibility, even though Affirm performs a 'soft' credit check. If you decide to buy with Affirm, your loan and payments may affect your credit score. Paying on time can help you build positive credit history.
Is there a credit limit?
Affirm doesn't operate on a credit basis, and customers are eligible to take out multiple loans at once. However, each Affirm loan application is evaluated separately as a closed-end transaction, so if an applicant has failed to repay other Affirm loans on time, that application may be denied on the basis of bad borrowing behavior.
What are all of the fees involved?
Affirm doesn't charge late fees, service fees, prepayment fees, or any other hidden fees! The only fee is the finance charge that corresponds to the 10%-30% APR simple interest.
