Chic and collectible late 90s vintage Chanel Classic Double Flap bag crafted in black patent leather with diamond quilting throughout, finished in ultra-rare black hardware.
About the Classic Flap: Few bags can claim that they have grown in popularity (and value) since 1955 -- and the Classic Flap is one of them. Originally launched as the "2.55", the bag featured a rectangular turn-lock closure and a long chain-strap, as Coco Chanel was tired of carrying her purse in her hands. Thanks to the creative genius of Karl Lagerfeld, the bag was updated to the Classic Flap we know, love, and recognize and featured the new logo 'CC' closure instead.
