WGACA WORLDWIDE: 5 Beach Towns We Can't Wait To Go Again

It’s getting hot out there. As temperature skyrocket across the country, we can’t help but lust for another trip to the beach. We asked our team members to tell us about their favorite beach towns.

 cabo san Lucas

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Cabo's white beaches, arching stone cliffs and epic party scene makes it a popular destination on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. “I got married there. I’m obsessed with it. It’s amazing.”

– Mandi, VP of Marketing & Communication

 Ibiza Spain

Ibiza, Spain

A frequent destination of Paris Hilton, Rihanna, and Leonard DiCaprio and a residence of Jade Jagger and Shakira, you may also spot supermodels like Naomi Campbell. Ibiza, a small island in the Mediterranean Sea off the east coast of Spain, is a celebrity hot spot. “It’s wild. Wild nightlife. Gorgeous beaches. Hot people.”

– Lauren, Vintage Services Coordinator

 Palawan, Phillipines

Palawan, Phillippines

According to Vogue, Palawan’s beaches, water, and aquatic species most closely resemble those in the Indian Ocean’s most famed collection of atolls, the Maldives.” The Philippines is composed of more than 7,000 islands in the Pacific Ocean and Palawan specifically is no longer a secret among the well-traveled. “I’ve been there a few times. The beaches are pristine and beautiful instead of being overrun.”

– Melanie, Marketing Manager

 Lombak Indonesia

Lombok, Indonesia

Fun fact: Indonesia has 922 inhabited islands. The one American tourists know best is Bali, a destination made popular by the Elizabeth Gilbert’s pilgrimage to the island in “Eat, Pray, Love.” However, Lombok and the 30-minute boat ride to the trio of islands known as Gili Islands is worth the hype. “It’s the new Bali.”

– Aileen, Director of E-Commerce

 Vieques Puerto Rico

Vieques, Puerto Rico

“This is not your fancy, umbrella-drink-served-poolside Caribbean island,” says the New York Times. Perhaps that’s what’s so alluring about it. “It has wild horses and it’s easy to find a secluded beach. I can’t wait to go back and support the community damaged in September by Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Plus, the Bioluminescent Bay is unreal.”
