It can be argued that Fashion Week (or month) birthed the fashion influencer. Being spotted outside of the shows in a fabulous outfit is the fodder street style blogs were built on. For some, getting photographed is just as sought after as getting an invitation to a show. Getting dressed in collection pieces before they even hit the runway is as premium as a front row seat and is still mostly reserved for celebrities.  So what is worn to the fashion show, presentation or after party is an important part of attending the event.

Vintage continues to be the go to for those looking for a photo-ready look. Our archive has been buzzing with appointments this week. Influencers, designers and fashion professionals have stopped in looking for inspiration for New York Fashion Week. Each appointment has combed our racks looking for the perfect pieces to wear to Tom Ford’s runway show to the Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party to Ralph Lauren’s 50ThAnniversary Celebration.

Here is what’s everyone is going crazy for in our archives.

Versace’s Tribute Collection dropped earlier this year as well as FX’s “American Crime Story” about founder Gianni Versace’s death. Current creative director Donatella Versace was a host at this year’s Met Gala. Most recently she was awarded GQs Designer of the Year Award. It’s safe to say that the hottest Italian brand right now is Versace and everyone wants a piece.

As celebrities and influencers run between appointments, they are leaving their leggings and sweats at home. In the 90 degree plus heat, the fashion crowd has opted for cute breezy separates instead of body-hugging athletic wear. Athleisure seems to be out – at least this fashion week. We shall see if anyone reaches for their cozy sweats once the temperature drops.
