Orange & Multicolor 'Springs' Silk Scarf 90
One of Hermès' most classic and recognizable scarf motifs, this pre-owned Springs motif was designed by book illustrator Phillipe Ledoux and first issued in 1974. It features an antique children's carriage front-and-center, which was specifically inspired by a coach that French Princess Carolina Bonaparte once commissioned for her son in the 19th century. The exact coach is on display at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna today. True to form, the scarf is finished with hand-rolled edges. 100% Silk. Artist Phillipe Ledoux.
