A sleek and sophisticated piece, this Hermès Jige Elan 29 clutch is rendered in Orange Swift leather, featuring tonal leather trim and 'H' logo tab closure.
Hermès' Swift leather has an extremely small grain that is almost undetectable. It is extremely smooth with a delicate shine and has a soft touch to the hand. Over time, it becomes more and more supple. It was first released in 2004 and was named after the author Jonathon Swift who wrote Gulliver's Travels. Hermès gave the name to the leather due to its strong resemblance to Gulliver leather which was discontinued before the production of Swift.
About the Jige: The Jige has existed since 1975, named after the creator's initials, and is used as symbol of love, as the first Jige was a wedding gift from Jean Guerrand, Émile Hermès, son in law, to one of his future daughter in laws
