The collection when Paris met Texas. A stand-out from the maison's 2010 Métiers d'Art Dallas debut, which was an unapologetic ode to the American West, this crossbody bag was evidently conceptualized for the bold at heart. Just as the name suggests, the silhouette cites a Chanel-signature quilted calfskin facade with pony hair, star stud work and a saddle-reminiscent flap. It opens to reveal a thrice compartmentalized burgundy interior with ample space for your on-the-go essentials. As for the collection itself, think a Karl Lagerfeld-stamped fusion of the maison's hometown and the Wild Wild West--spangled stars, ridgetop hats and lots (!) of denim, to give you a hint. And, as if to honor the state's 'go big or go home' slogan, the after-party took place in a built-to-fit saloon with a mechanical bull and British band performance.
