Born of the collaboration between the French house and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, this Porte Monnaie Zippy wallet was crafted from the age-old Monogram coated canvas and playfully upgraded with the artist's Cerises cherry illustration. To accentuate the motif, it's contrast-stitched and rendered with a generously compartmentalized, crimson leather interior to match. True to form, it's complete with gold-tone brass hardware for a hint of shine.
About the Monogram Print: If you love Louis Vuitton, you are no stranger to the classic Monogram Print. First introduced in the year 1896 by Georges Vuitton, the print was created to stop counterfeiters from copying the brands designs. The repeated pattern is made up of interlocking L and V initials in a serif font, and flowers inspired by Japanese and Oriental designs. The canvas was made to be durable and water resistant which makes it the perfect for everyday use.
