This covetable style of the Hermès' Bolide bag is crafted in the rarest colorway of Dalmatian printed Buffalo leather, finished with Palladium hardware and includes an optional shoulder strap for versatile carry. Invented by Jean Paul Gaultier, the Dalmatian print Buffalo leather is a thick and durable leather with a large, deep textured grain known for durability, resisting scratches, and acquiring a slouchy feel with use. Includes lock, two keys and clochette.

About the Bolide: The Hermès Bolide bag was conceived in 1916 when Emile-Maurice Hermès discovered the zipper while visiting dozens of auto manufacturing plants. Less than a decade later Hermès released the “sac pour l’auto”, a trapezoidal carryall with the world’s first zippered compartment designed to easily fit into the trunk of a sports car. The brand later changed the name to “Bolide”, meaning meteor, and the style would go on to become one of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes.
