Inspired by an archival design from the 1970s, Gucci’s Marmont collection is relatively new to Gucci’s repertoire but has already become a classic. The GG Marmont logo was first released in 2015 before creative director Alessandro Michele introduced the Gucci Marmont handbag collection in 2016. Michele flipped the two G’s, so they faced the same way and overlapped. Since Marmont’s introduction, the soft matelassé rendering of the collection has appeared on totes, shoulder bags, bucket bags, and miniature silhouettes. This pre-owned authentic silhouette is the perfect on-the-go companion.
