The Latest NYFW Recap

This past week in NYC, the streets were busier and more colorful because it was fashion week! Between 50 degree days and the Spring/Summer collections on the runway, Spring is in the air and the energy is electric. This season, WGACA participated in NYFW by hosting a styling suite for influencers, editors, and tastemakers to browse our selection of iconic vintage. We also lent a selection of our vintage jewelry to L'Agence to be featured at their NYFW show.

#VINTAGEINTHEVAULT Styling Suite:

We invited editors, influencers, and tastemakers into The Vault of our Flagship Store in Soho for our NYFW Styling Suite. We filled The Vault with our favorite vintage RTW, bags, and accessories for our attendees to choose from, including some iconic Chanel mini bags from the 90s, a stunning Zucca print Fendi Baguette, and the best RTW from Alaïa, Chanel, LV, Fendi, and more. Editors from Vogue, Town & Country, and New York Magazine browsed vintage Dior Denim jackets, Roberto Cavalli blazers, and Alaïa dresses while chatting about what upcoming shows they were excited to attend.

While browsing through our vintage menswear selection, Ernesto Macias from Interview Magazine told us he’s most excited to see younger designers and “an after party or two.” Naomi Elizee, host of Vogue’s “The Tip Off”, pulled a LV Alma in the perfect shade of orange, and told us this NYFW she’s most excited to “see my friends. This week is like a big reunion!”

Top fashion influencers Caroline Vazzana, Kate Bartlett, and Hannah Harrell perused our racks to find the best pieces for a coveted street style snap. Tezza stopped by to pick out her favorite pieces to wear to shows, events, and photo shoots throughout fashion week. Angela Oh, Editor at The NYT Style magazine gushed over our vintage Chanel, explaining “Chanel was such a big inspiration for why I started my career in fashion.”
