Introduced in 2011, Louis Vuitton launched a new glaze of the Epi called 'Electrique' which highlights a glossy finish. This new model Alma bag is crafted in striated green patent leather and finished with silver-tone metal hardware.

The Alma is considered one of the most ladylike and structured of Louis Vuitton's handbag silhouettes. The bag was named after the Pont de l'Alma (Alma Bridge) on the River Seine in Paris.
