Classic Speedy bag featuring the iconic Damier Ebene check coated canvas, featuring leather trim and accented with gold-tone brass hardware. Includes detachable, adjustable shoulder strap. The Damier, which translates to "checkerboard", came to be in the year 1888 making for an understated but equally as iconic coated canvas print that is perfect for everyday wear. The print has been produced in tonal brown Ebene, white and blue Azur, and grey-scale Graphite.
About the Speedy: Designed as the perfect bag for city living (and as a smaller, more portable version of the Keepall), the Speedy was first introduced in the 30 cm size with the smaller 25 cm size only being added to the lineup in 1959 at the request of Audrey Hepburn. The bag now exists in a wide range of sizes and has been rendered in a variety seasonal colors and limited edition prints.
