1. TAKASHI MURAKAMI X LOUIS VUITTON MULTICOLOR ENAMEL & METAL BARRETTES

In 2004, Murakami released Monogram pieces that featured a character he created for a short film for Louis Vuitton called "A Superflat Monogram". Classic Monogram silhouettes were accented with the colorful characters in one of Murakami's more subtle series.

“I've always loved fashion barrettes and hair ties - but most branded ones bear a logo which is more "fashion" and less "elegant." These little guys in particular have super colorful, fun silhouettes and will totally pop in any hair color they get placed in. Because they have funky shapes they can be easily worn in a casual day outfit; but also because they have the sleek enamel finish they can also be worn with a formal gown or sexy jumpsuit. From the 2004 Louis Vuitton Collection featuring Takeshi Murakami, the three characters in the set are all aptly named Flower Boy, Onion Head, and Panda. They're all crafted in multicolor enamel and finished in gold-tone metal hardware.”

2. ROSE PURPLE CHEVRE KELLY SELLIER 20 MINI

The impeccable craftsmanship, classic silhouette, scarcity, and unique history make the Kelly a must-have for any handbag collector. The Chevre leather featured here is known for being ultra-lightweight, slightly textured, and having a delicate sheen to it.

“This Rose Purple Mini Kelly 20cm in Chevre - I just can't get enough. With its gold hardware and candy color - I'm just obsessed. Sure, it can't fit my giant iPhone but I never stop holding that thing in my hands anyways. The perfect "out-to-dinner-then-the-club" bag has a little top handle and crossbody strap that sits a bit higher on my waist (strap drop is 16 inches) and I'm actually getting to like this length more than my other Wallet-on-Chains. It's the hottest bag in the game right now and because it's an official Hermès Kelly (albeit a tiny play on the originals), it's also a good investment for my closet, my social life and my future daughter (when I have one).”

3. BLACK QUILTED VELVET VICKY CROSSBODY SMALL

The chic & discontinued Saint Laurent small Vicky crossbody is crafted in black vertically quilted velvet, featuring the house's iconic YSL logo in gold-tone hardware and finished with a chain-link crossbody strap.

“I love a bag I can pet. And it's getting a little chilly out, so naturally this bag is now something I'm dying for. I like the Vicky style (no longer in production at YSL so get them where you can) and I'm not even really one for black bags - BUT - if I'm going to do one it's going to be THIS ONE. It's the perfect fall/winter going out silhouette but with the rich velvet texture it's going to stand out from other girls' bags. I can probably rock it to a concert or go to a fancy dinner - probably even day shopping.”

“I gravitate towards pieces that people don't have or can't find generally - but I love a textured play on a classic. This particular 10" hits on all the right cylinders for me - it has gold hardware and the body is composed of delicately woven strips of lambskin combined with the epic finishing touch of a chevron motif.
