Vintage 1993 Hermès Haut à Courroies 60cm Birkin sourced from André Leon Talley's personal collection, rendered in red Rouge H Box leather, featuring gold foil stamped ALT initials in the top corner and finished with gold-plated hardware. The HAC was created by Emile-Maurice Hermès in 1892, modeling it after leather totes carried by Argentinian cowboys. Box leather is the oldest and most traditional of leathers used by Hermes, it is a polished calfskin leather with a glossy finish, and a structured hard leather that holds shape well. Includes lock, two keys and clochette.
