The Chanel Fall/Winter 1991 collection designed by Karl Lagerfeld, known as the Nouveau Rapper collection, was a pivotal runway moment that positioned Chanel as one of hip-hop's greatest status symbols. The streetwear influences of this iconic collection are seen here by the incorporation of denim trim added to the otherwise classic bouclé Chanel blazer.

While a Chanel blazer is classic and stands perfectly well alone, this look as a whole was something quite unique.
