First designed in 1932, the Kelly was introduced as a travel bag that was referred to as the sac à dépêches. It was then renamed to the Kelly after actress Grace Kelly was photographed numerous times with the bag (most notably, while she was pregnant and using it to cover her baby bump). The impeccable craftsmanship, classic silhouette, scarcity, and unique history make the Kelly a must-have for any handbag collector. The two styles of Kelly are the Sellier (or Rigide) and Retourne (or Souple). The Sellier has a more structured, rigid shape with distinct corners and visible exterior stitching, while the Retourne has a more relaxed, softer shape with rounded edges as though the bag were turned inside out. It can take a single Hermès craftsman up to 18 hours to construct each Kelly. This classic pre-owned authentic mini Kelly Sellier New Model is rendered in Rose Confetti pink Chevre leather and accented with Palladium-plated hardware. Chevre leather is known for being ultra lightweight, slightly textured, and having a delicate sheen to it. Includes removable strap.
