Shown here in the series’ medium size, Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2016 Kimono tote was intentionally designed to mimic the overlapping of the traditional Japanese Kimono robe. To achieve the desired look, the maison enlisted a black leather panel that appears to diagonally cross its Monogram coated canvas. The quote-unquote neckline of the bag is embellished with a gold-tone brass ‘V’ hardware piece. The open-top construction will allow for easy access to your cargo, as well as peeping at its suede-lined interior. Happy hauling!
About the Monogram Print: If you love Louis Vuitton, you are no stranger to the classic Monogram Print. First introduced in the year 1896 by Georges Vuitton, the print was created to stop counterfeiters from copying the brands designs. The repeated pattern is made up of interlocking L and V initials in a serif font, and flowers inspired by Japanese and Oriental designs. The canvas was made to be durable and water resistant which makes it the perfect for everyday use.
