From Chanel's Pre-Fall 2011 Paris-Byzance runway collection, this collectible 2.55 Reissue Double Flap bag in the 225 size features ornately arranged multi-tonal metal and multicolor Gripoix glass embellishments throughout the exterior. The name 2.55 refers to the bag's original release date in February 1955, and the chain strap pays homage to the keychains that the caretakers held at the orphanage where Coco herself grew up.

Typically inspired by a new location every year, Lagerfeld's iconic Chanel Pre-Fall collections embody the chosen locale's culture and aesthetic through the emulation of signature colors, materials, and motifs.
