First designed in 1932, the Kelly was introduced as a travel bag, referred to as the sac à dépêches. It was then renamed the Kelly after actress Grace Kelly was photographed numerous times with the bag (most notably while she was pregnant, using it to cover her baby bump). The impeccable craftsmanship, classic silhouette, scarcity, and unique history make the Kelly a must-have for any handbag collector. This pre-owned, authentic Kelly 32 is crafted from Cactus green Alligator leather and accented with gold-plated hardware. This exquisite skin is sourced from the American Alligator (sp. Alligator Mississippiensis), which can be identified by the square next to the brand stamping. Alligator leather is instantly recognizable for its large, beautiful oblong plates and webbing pattern, giving any item a luxurious appearance.  Includes lock, two keys, clochette, and shoulder strap.
