Monogram Canvas Deauville
Named after a coastal town in Northwest France renowned for its beaches, the Deauville bag is a larger iteration of the classic Trouville bag. Rendered in Louis Vuitton’s signature Monogram coated canvas, this pre-owned silhouette features Vachetta leather trimming and gold-tone brass hardware. The Monogram print was first introduced in the year 1896 by Georges Vuitton, the print was created to stop counterfeiters from copying the brands designs. The repeated pattern is made up of interlocking L and V initials in a serif font, and flowers inspired by Japanese and Oriental designs.
