The silk scarf is a staple for any Hermès aficionado to have in their collection. Crafted from 100% silk twill, measuring at 90 x 90 cm, it features hand-rolled edges and a screen-printed motif designed by a selected artist drawing inspiration from Hermès' rich history.
Designed by Philippe Ledoux, the 'Pavois' motif was originally released in 1964. Featuring 39 European Bulwark flags that were flown on the naval ship of each featured country. An anchor is featured in the middle to state the importance of naval vessels to these nations as it was often their first line of defense.
