The Montaigne bag made its debut in Louis Vuitton’s 2014 Fall/Winter collection, named after the prestigious Avenue Montaigne in Paris. This pre-owned medium-sized silhouette is crafted from Empreinte leather, a distinctive, logo-embossed calfskin released in 2012. Empreinte leather is made of a calf leather that is enriched with tannins, drummed several times to show the natural grain and to create its luxe feel, and finally embossed with the iconic LV Monogram print.
